Subject: Order Inquiry....

Hi,

I am Orson Aguilar and I'll like to order some items from your store but before we proceed I'll like to ask the following questions.

Do you ship to Australia?
Do you do Mail Order?
Do you accept credit card as for Payment?

I await your urgent response so we can proceed.

Thanks for your response concerning my order.

I would be happy if you can email/attach me the lists of pieces you have in
stock now along with their prices, so that I can choose.

Regards

Orson

  3. Thanks for the alert. I even went so far as to get a carton to ship to this guy in Australia and got really expensive shipping quotes. Then I received another almost identical email from Nathan Michael asking about shipping to Thailand! I can't figure out what they're after, but I'm glad I didn't lose 5 pieces of good artwork and the shipping money.

  4. They are after cash. The difference between what they owe and what they overpay, which is often thousands of dollars, which they instruct to just have sent back to the shipping company (which is actually them). There is no shipping company on their end.

I still don't know what the scammers do with the artwork or other items they get when people fall for these scams. I suppose it is just stuff they then pawn off and try to sell on the cheap.

Glad you caught it before sending anything.

  5. I was contacted the exact same way. Thanks for the alert. I was on the verge of completing what I thought was a $1400.00 transaction when I found your site.
