James Harry contacted me through Facebook. He told me he has US$15 in cash in Malaysia and that he wanted to give me the money to invest in Australia...property etc. I asked a lot of questions but there was a lack of credible responses. He wanted me to fly to Malaysia where his trusted lady would hand over the cash. I explained that he needed approval from the Foreign Investment Review Board before he could invest here but he ignored this. He wanted to trust each other "man to man" and didn't even enquire about the usual processes for property investment. I have ceased contact with this scammer. He seemed confident in trusting me without questioning my position.

ReplyDeleteI recently..came across..mr.james harry...he introduced him self as a man that was going on a business trip..and had no time to collect money that was owned to him by one of his associates..and if I could accept,a cashier check for him ..all he needed was my mailing address to send it..it was a $7500''check..I was to put it in my account..send him $5000.00, and keep the rest for helping him out..I went to withdraw the money..I found out the cheques..was fake..I thank god I didn't have any money..in the account.I could have went to jail.I have a little girl..when I told him that the check was fake ..he said his friends could ruin me.that I was a lier..and he knows I'm keeping the money..I feel so ashamed..

Trying to make you feel guilty and ashamed enough to send them money is their last desperate attempt to get their scam to work. If he sends any more emails, tell him keep 'em comin' because the police has asked you to send the emails on to them. That ought to send the scammer cockroach back into the dark shadows. Or move on to their next victim, which is what they really do.
ReplyDeleteI have a set of rims and tires on a web site for sale. James Harry contacted me and wanted to buy them. He stated he would send me check through the mail and he would have movers pick up items at my house. I didn't like that so I asked if I could meet them somewhere else he said sure. Then that's when I got suspicious. He then told me that the amount of the check would cover my product with extra for holding fees and also the movers fee that's when I stopped contact thanks for reading this hope this doesn't happen to anyone else
