Scam Email: Justin Johnson
Just received this in my own box this morning. Given we've reported on how an artist unfortunately fell for and lost money to a scam email last week from Alice Drew, I'm guessing we'll be seeing a LOT of this email, with just various fake names and diposable email addresses. This is pretty much the same. Not even personalized. Doesn't care who I am, but they will begin personalizing it once I respond (and by the way, I will NOT be responding at all).

I just received the same email. I could not find anything about this company or person. The first search for Justin Johnson found this warning. Definitely a scam. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI really glad to see its coming up in searches and that artists ARE searching on the name BEFORE they send any money. Good! Let's keep this scammer from making any money this round.

ReplyDeleteI just received the same email. The things that always make me suspicious are a non-business email return address (it was a yahoo email account), not mentioning anything specific about my products, and asking for what I sell.
