Scam Email: Sofia Daniel

"Bellow is my shipping".

Boy, did this scammer mess up this email. I suppose the automated software that kicks out their emails didn't get set up correct. Just a sloppy, shoddy scammer effort.

The IP number [41.189.39.242] does originate out of the Ivory Coast of South Africa. Notice the reply-to address is different.

  3. Oh dear,

I am always heart-broken when I hear someone has fallen for these scams. I have to keep working at educating people to google these fake scammer names and emails FIRST - before sending any product/money. BEFORE!

Okay, some steps to take now:
    1. it is now a crime, so contact your local police
    2. check all the links in the upper right hand column of this blog and report the crime in those links.
    3. in rare occasions, if you act FAST - if you have sent money to the scammers via Western Union you can call them and stop the transaction. But this only works if the scammers have not already picked up the money at their end... and they know they have to move fast to get the money. But we've seen one case here on the blog where the victim WAS able to stop the transaction.

Good luck and my deepest sympathies. I'll keep fighting back against the scammers here and posting their blasted emails and shining a light on their dark activities and keep educating people to recognize these scams before they take any action.

    I'll keep at it.
